The National Woman's Party, East City Bookshop, and Feminist Majority Foundation are proud to present Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, Feminist Majority Foundation President Eleanor Smeal, and Kirsten Swinth, author of Feminism’s Forgotten Fight: the Unfinished Struggle for Work and Family, for a discussion on the radical demands of the women’s movement of the 1960s and 1970s. We’ll discuss the ways in which feminism’s second wave fought for women and families, and the work left to be done in women’s ongoing struggle to achieve equality at work and at home.

A book signing will follow the program. This event is free and open to all. Registration is required.
